Heated Rivalry's Yuna Actress Christina Chang Addresses Season 2 & Playing Shane Hollander's Mom
Christina Chang is opening up about what to expect in Season 2 of Heated Rivalry.
The actress, who plays Shane’s (Hudson Williams) mother Yuna in the series, recently spoke out about the show’s massive success, as well as what we might expect to see in the second season.

When asked about her hopes for Season 2 by Variety, she said: “That I get to spend as much time with Hudson and Connor [Storrie] as possible.”
She also addressed an expanded storyline in Season 2, courtesy of creator Jacob Tierney.
“Jacob expanded Yuna’s role just a tiny bit from the books. My hope is that we see this next chapter with them fleshed out, and we get to see her and Ilya form a relationship. I think it’s going to be lovely and fun to do.”
She also addressed her concerns for the two lead actors.
“I’m not experiencing [their fame] at all, but I’m watching it, and it’s really weird, and I think it’s weird for them. I’m not worried yet. The conversation online about their own personal lives is kind of an interesting topic. I understand the different perspectives,” she said.
Christina also talked about the experience of having a child come out.
“Your love for your child and their well-being is the most paramount. Everyone has a different definition of protection, but loving and protecting them means seeing them for who they are and embracing that. If your child has the courage to tell you this, just know that it likely wasn’t easy. So just love them for that, and work through it together,” she advised.
