There Are 3 College Football Bowl Games Tuesday. Here's The Schedulev
We're officially about to get into the meat of bowl season, with the College Football Playoff returning on Wednesday night.
Before that happens, fans have a nice teaser of three bowl games on Tuesday, beginning this afternoon. The Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC will all be represented in today's action.
Here's a closer look at the schedule:
Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl: Coastal Carolina vs. Louisiana Tech (2 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Tuesday's action begins in Shreveport, Louisiana, where the 6-6 Chanticleers, who didn't join the FBS level until 2017, are making their sixth consecutive bowl appearance.
Their opponents, Louisiana Tech (7-5), should presumably have a crowd advantage with plenty of in-state fans taking advantage of the game's location. The Bulldogs have a 72.1% chance of winning, per ESPN FPI.
Clay Matvick (play-by-play), Chase Daniel (game analyst) and Harry Lyles Jr. (sideline reporter) will call the game for ESPN.

Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl: Tennessee vs. Illinois (5:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The second game of the day will feature plenty of orange on the field and in the stands, and also lots of points on the scoreboard. The game's over/under has been set at 61.5.
Tennessee (8-4) took a step back from its College Football Playoff appearance in 2024, but the Vols can still end the season with a bowl win for the third time in Josh Heupel's five seasons as head coach. A victory would also mean Tennessee will have reached nine wins in four consecutive years for the first time since 1995-99.
Illinois (8-4) has now made back-to-back bowls under Bret Bielema and will attempt to win back-to-back bowl games for the first time since 2010 and 2011.
Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic will broadcast the action from Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Valero Alamo Bowl: USC vs. TCU (9 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Tuesday's nightcap from the Alamodome in San Antonio matches the 16th-ranked Trojans (9-3) against the 8-4 Horned Frogs.
USC is a distinct favorite, with a 69.8% chance of winning, according to ESPN's model. The Trojans have won back-to-back bowls under Lincoln Riley, while TCU is looking for three bowl wins in four years under Sonny Dykes.
