Abortionists Rip Babies Apart, Tearing off Their Limbs. That’s Not Health Care

0

For decades before the “Great Stink” of 1858, London’s poor lived in filth no human being should endure. The stench stormed the House of Commons and clawed at the noses of gentlemen who had ignored the cries of the poor. Only when their own comfort was violated did they suddenly discover that sewers were a moral necessity.

In the Jim Crow South, Black citizens lived under a lawless regime that stole their votes, dignity, and lives. White America knew enough and chose not to know more. Then the cameras rolled on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, and the world saw state troopers charge peaceful marchers, crack skulls, and drive them back with gas and clubs.

Those images crashed into white living rooms and ripped away the polite lies about “states’ rights” and “order.” Congress did not suddenly read the Constitution with new eyes. It felt exposed. It felt ashamed. The Voting Rights Act was not a gift. It was a delayed response to a truth that could no longer be hidden.

The early AIDS crisis exposed the same cold hierarchy of human worth. Young men walked into hospitals to wither and die. They choked, wasted away, and died in numbers that screamed emergency. Their friends begged the government to act.

The CDC and NIH responded with foot-dragging, euphemisms, and crumbs from the budget. Many leaders treated them as disposable people whose suffering did not matter. Only when HIV began to strike patients infected through blood transfusions and factor products, people with ties to boardrooms, media, and political families, did the tone shift. Suddenly, the crisis looked serious enough for the government to respond.

Nothing changed until the public saw, felt, and refused to ignore these injustices. Abortion in America is trapped in the same pattern. Children are dismembered in clinics, women are harmed and silenced, and most people never see what actually happens.

Every year in the United States, children die behind doors most of us will never enter or see. Their bodies leave in bags. No names. No funerals. No graves. Women walk out with physical injuries, broken relationships, and wounds in the soul that they are told to keep quiet.

Our culture covers all of this with dishonest language. It calls killing a “procedure.” It calls a son or daughter a “choice.” It slaps the word “care” on the door and expects everyone to salute. The child is shredded and disappears. The mother becomes a narrative prop.

We need the same piercing honesty here that history forced on London, Selma, and the AIDS wards. Ultrasound screens show the undeniable truth. A small chest. A beating heart. Hands that move and open. Fetal surgery shows a patient, not a blob, receiving anesthesia and treatment. Women who regret their abortions tell stories of pressure, panic, and grief that did not go away when the clinic door closed. Survivors of failed abortions stand in front of cameras as adults and say, “They tried to kill me and failed.” These are our outrage moments. These are our photographs from the bridge and our stink from the river. The question is when America will look.

In the coming year, we must vociferously describe what abortion does to that small body without flinching or hiding behind polite words. The abortionist forces the cervix open, reaches into the womb with metal instruments, and pulls the child apart. An arm. A leg. The torso. The head. He lays out the pieces to be sure nothing remains inside the mother. This is the dismemberment of a living human being.

That is not “care.” That is not “health.” That is the deliberate and barbaric destruction of a son or daughter who will never be allowed to draw a breath.

Our task is demanding and straightforward: tell the truth, show the truth, repeat the truth, and keep going until no one can say, “I did not know.”
