One of Pro Racing’s Most Intriguing Teams Looks Back at Its 2025 Season

Frameworks Racing is one of the most interesting teams in professional sport right now. From its management to its sponsors to the growing talent on its athlete roster, they are certainly ones to keep an eye on going into 2026.

With a pretty phenomenal season in 2025, the rising talent of Asa Vermette made waves with his final season racing UCI Downhill as a Junior, but also proved he's ready for the Elites with his performances outside the UCIcalendar. Anna Newkirk, the 2024 USA National Champion, claimed 2nd at Leogang, as well as a few top 10s throughout the 2025 UCI DH season, and a 1st at the Monster Energy Pro DH at Rock Creek. The year didn’t go so great for Angel Suarez Alonso, who recently parted ways with Frameworks Racing after two years. After sustaining a cracked rib early in the season, Suarez struggled to get back to form all year, but was a welcome addition to the Frameworks family throughout the season.

Led and founded by Neko Mullaley, a legend in the sport who not only manages the Frameworks team, but also pins a number when he can, and has a few races on the calendar throughout 2025 - something not many team managers can claim these days.

This season recap highlights all the moments of the 2025 UCI Downhill season for the team, and as Asa has said multiple times, “Frameworks just feels like a family,” and this video really proves what a special thing Neko and the riders have created. We’re all excited to see how the team grows and progresses as they remain one of the most interesting teams in professional sports. It will be especially exciting to see how Asa Vermette navigates moving up to the Elite UCI Downhill ranks in 2026. Given his track record of already racing and beating some of the world's fastest at Red Bull Hardline events, we think he’ll do just fine.
