Fabrizio Romano reveals that Brennan Johnson may not be the only player securing a transfer away from Tottenham this week.
Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to sign a new winger in the January transfer window, especially with Brennan Johnson set to join Crystal Palace.
However, selling unwanted players appears to be a priority for Spurs and Manor Solomon could become the latest to bid farewell to North London.
The Israeli international spent the first half of the season on loan at Villarreal, but it has been reported that Solomon has agreed to join Fiorentina on loan.
Manor Solomon will have a medical at Fiorentina
According to Fabrizio Romano, Solomon is closing in on a move to Fiorentina, and he will have his medical on Friday ahead of his official announcement.
The deal is another loan move, but the Serie A club will have the option to make it permanent in the summer with an £8.7m transfer fee.
It is not surprising the 26-year-old is seeking new pastures, considering he only made six La Liga appearances for Villarreal, who are performing well without his assistance.
Tottenham must find replacements for their departing wingers
Spurs failed to replace Heung-min Son last summer, and now Johnson and Solomon both look to be on the move.
There is a shortage of wingers at Tottenham, and it is important that the squad has enough depth to have a strong second half of the season.
Signing one winger to replace two or three is simply not good enough, and so Spurs must be busy in order to get something out of this campaign.
