I trust you and Karen we well.
I write as a lifelong Birmingham City supporter who is exhausted by the continued decline of a club that deserves far better than it is currently receiving.
You spoke on arrival about ambition, structure, and a long-term vision. What we have instead experienced is instability, confused decision-making, and a growing disconnect between ownership and supporters. Promises of progress have not translated into coherent football operations or results on the pitch.
Managerial upheaval, poor recruitment, and the absence of a clear footballing identity have left Birmingham City drifting. The club feels directionless, treated more like a project than an institution rooted in its city and its people.
What frustrates fans most is not simply losing, it is the absence of accountability. When mistakes are made, they are repeated. When concerns are raised, they are deflected with slogans rather than addressed with substance.
St Andrew’s is not a testing ground. Birmingham City is a historic club with a loyal fanbase that asks only for competence, honesty, and respect.
If you are unable or unwilling to provide the leadership, football expertise, and stability this club requires, then the responsible course of action is clear. You should sell Birmingham City to owners who can.
This is not said lightly, nor out of spite. It is said out of love for a club that continues to pay the price for poor stewardship. Supporters will always stand by Birmingham City, but we cannot be expected to blindly support ownership that consistently fails to deliver.
We deserve better. The club deserves better.
