Eric Adams Tells Andy Cohen to 'Seek Help' Following 'Drunken Rant' on New Year's Eve
Former Mayor of New York City Eric Adams is firing back at Andy Cohen.
On Wednesday night (December 31), Andy, 57, co-hosted CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve Live with longtime friend Anderson Cohen.
Moments after the ball dropped, Andy, while holding a shot of tequila, heavily criticized the outgoing mayor for his “chaotic” tenure.

“No, I’m just saying,” Andy continued. “Great, you got your pardons. Go off into the sunset. We’ll fiddle with what we have, with what you’ve left us with.”
After Andy‘s comments went viral, Adams, 65, responded and told the Watch What Happens Live host to go to “Alcoholics Anonymous.”
“My response to @Andy: AA. Another sloppy drunken rant,” Adams tweeted. “If anyone actually cares about him, they’ll tell him to get help. New Yorkers aren’t laughing with him. They are concerned about him. Public intoxication is a disease. He should seek help.”
“He was safe in Times Square because we did our job. Again,” the former mayor added. “Seek help. AAA: Andy’s Alcohol Anonymous.”
At midnight local time in New York City, Adams left office and Zohran Mamdani was officially sworn in as the new mayor.
This isn’t the first time Andy went after an outgoing mayor during CNN’s NYE special.
