James Maddison and three Tottenham stars post emotional tributes to Brennan Johnson
Archie Gray, Destiny Udogie, Dominic Solanke, and James Maddison have led the tributes pouring in for Brennan Johnson after he completed a move from Tottenham to Crystal Palace.
Just seven months on from scoring a goal that will never be forgotten by his Tottenham teammates and supporters, the Wales international finds himself exiting the club.
After weeks of rumours, Spurs have officially confirmed that Johnson has completed a move to Palace, which has been met with sadness by the players and the fans.
Tottenham fans sang Johnson’s name during their 0-0 draw with Brentford despite him not being part of the matchday squad, and the players have now shared their feelings.

From the reactions of Gray, Maddison, Solanke, and Udogie, it is clear that the former Nottingham Forest man was loved in the dressing room.
Both Gray and Udogie referred to Johnson as their ‘brother’, with the former thanking him for looking after him from day one, while the latter thanked him for all that he has done for Spurs.
Gray wrote: “Gonna miss you, brother. Grateful for everything you have done for me. Looked after me since day one. What a player and an even better guy.”
Udogie wrote: “My brother man, honestly wish you the best and thank you for what you have done for us. You will be missed.”
Maddison wrote: “Honestly, one of a kind. Go well, my friend.”
Solanke wrote: “Club legend! All the best, brother. Been a pleasure.”
Johnson will always be loved at Spurs
The winger gave a whole generation of Spurs fans one of the best nights of their lives, and it is thus sad to see him go.
However, Johnson leaves with his legacy at Tottenham very much intact, and he will always be loved by the fan base.
There is no doubt that he will be a cult hero at Spurs for many years to come and will always get a fantastic reception at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
