Radu Dragusin’s outspoken agent reveals truth to Tottenham exit rumours

Radu Dragusin has an infamously talkative agent who has now offered an update on how close the defender is to departing Tottenham Hotspur.

Radu Dragusin arrived at Tottenham Hotspur with a fine reputation. The Romanian had been targeted by Bayern Munich, but it was Spurs who won the race for his signature.

However, Dragusin has struggled for regular starts since his move to North London, other than when Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are out with injuries.

This has not stopped the player’s agent from repeatedly backing his client and criticising Tottenham for failing to give him more time on the pitch.

Tottenham are yet to approve Radu Dragusin’s departure

Spurs are in talks to sell Dragusin to Roma in a loan-to-buy deal, which would see him join the Serie A club immediately with a permanent move taking place in the summer.

According to the 23 year old’s agent, Tottenham have not agreed a deal with Roma at this point in time, but his comments suggest the defender himself wants the move to take place.

He told RaiSport, Manea, as relayed by Roma Press: “I’m waiting for Tottenham to say yes to Roma before we can get to the heart of the matter.

“Radu has a special bond with Italy. Gladiators are happy in Rome.”

Spurs already have the perfect Dragusin replacement

Tottenham possess three capable centre-backs who they will hope to still have at the club next season and Luka Vuskovic will return from his loan at Hamburg.

The teenager is having a brilliant spell in the Bundesliga and he could end up being a much better player than Dragusin has been for Spurs.
