Shaquille O’Neal Launches Basketball-Themed Addition to His Candy Brand

Shaquille O'Neal's business partnerships are all over the map, including in the snack world. The legendary big man launched his Shaq-A-Licious oversized fruit gummies with Hershey in 2024.

Since then, O'Neal has expanded his line to include sour varieties and gummies shaped like basketball sneakers. To start 2026, Shaq-A-Licious has dropped its new "SLAMS" gummies, which are meant to provide a "multisensory" experience for customers, who can "dunk" the gummy balls into the pieces shaped like rings.

Shaq-A-Licious Slams come in three flavors

Shaq-A-Licious Slams are now available at retailers nationwide and can also be purchased online.

The snacks come in three varieties--watermelon, strawberry and orange-, which are the flavors of the gummy balls. The rings that serve as the "hoop" for your "slam" are sour mango flavored.

"When I do something, I want it big! Big flavor, big fun, big everything," O'Neal said in a press release. "With Shaq-A-Licious SLAMS, you are not just grabbing a gummy and tossing it in your mouth. You're stacking the balls, aiming for the mango ring, shooting your shot, then going in for that big sweet-and-sour chew. People always told me, 'Don't play with your food.' With SLAMS, I'm telling everybody: go ahead and play with your candy. Stack it, slam it, snack it – and if you miss the shot, you still get the bucket."

Shaq-A-Licious Slams have only been out for less than two weeks this year, but it seems like they are making their rounds in the snacking community.

Early reviews are in on social media.

"OK, these these look ????," one commenter wrote.

"Strawberry is my favorite," another added.

"I like how they give you 2 different candies in this one," a third person chimed in.

"Nah, I tried em. These the ones," a fourth commenter said.

"Gotta leave these in vodka for a week," a fifth person said.
