Budget 2026: Fertiliser industry seeks duty cuts, subsidy reforms

For the Budget 2026, the Fertiliser Association of India has proposed key changes including lower customs duties on essential raw materials. Incentives for downstream projects and bringing urea under the nutrient-based subsidy framework are also suggested.
