In this episode we look back at the 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday. We start by reckoning with the fact we’ve extended our lead at the top, despite a sense of frustration that permeated after a goalless draw. Then we move onto the match itself, and the key incidents including big chances missed by Gabriel Martinelli and Viktor Gyokeres, with some focus on the striker, what he’s not bringing to the team right now, and what that requires of Mikel Arteta. There were second half changes, a slightly contentious penalty incident, but the game played out in disappointing fashion as we struggled to create. In part 2 there are questions about our attacking potency based on some stats, Declan Rice’s ‘outburst’ at the end, how we view draws, Martin Odegaard, reconfiguring midfield from time to time, and loads more.
