Etobicoke Cycling Club: Fun, Friendly and Fresh
Formed in 2014, Etobicoke Cycling Club is a friendly, inclusive cycling community based in Toronto’s west end, bringing riders together to enjoy the sport, build fitness, and connect with others who love to ride. While road cycling is their primary focus, they have been known to hop on their cyclocross, gravel and mountain bikes from time to time, embracing variety and adventure throughout the season.
They understand that their members are busy, so most of their rides are designed to be efficient and manageable, rarely lasting more than a few hours. Many rides include a stop at a local coffee shop, giving members a chance to relax, socialize, and refuel before heading off on their own.
An Etobicoke Cycling Club membership spans a wide range of abilities, from riders who enjoy pushing the pace to those who prefer a more relaxed social ride. All club rides are open to all members, with the understanding that the club’s No-Drop-Policy applies only to designated no-drop rides. While the club does their best to ensure no one gets left behind, riders are encouraged to realistically assess their fitness, skills, and comfort level before joining a ride.
