Victoria Beckham Reunites With Spice Girls Bandmates Amid Latest Family Drama

Victoria Beckham gave her followers something to talk about besides the scandal currently engulfing her family over the weekend, when she took part in a small-scale Spice Girls reunion.

Last week, Victoria found herself at the centre of controversy when her eldest son Brooklyn finally broke his silence on the headlines of a supposed family feud that have been hovering over the Beckhams for the better part of a year.

In a series of social media posts, Brooklyn made it clear he had no intention of reconciling with his famous parents, Victoria and Sir David Beckham, accusing them of “controlling” and “performative” behaviour.

Brooklyn also claimed that Victoria had “hijacked” the first dance at his wedding, leaving him “humiliated” and “uncomfortable” with what he described as her “inappropriate” conduct.

So far, neither Sir David nor Victoria has commented publicly on the claims, and neither of their representatives responded to HuffPost UK’s requests for comment.

However, the fashion designer has been posting on social media, first to wish her former bandmate Emma Bunton a happy 50th birthday, and later to post a picture of the celebrations alongside Melanie C and Geri Horner (not present was Mel B, who previously expressed her sadness not to be there for Emma on her special night).

Wishing the “most beautiful soul” a happy birthday, she also told the rest of the band: “I love you girls so much.”

Sir David also popped up in the comments, writing: “This made me happy… I can only imagine how the spice girls fans feel… special night celebrating Emma.”

The Spice Girls’ last public performance was on their 2019 stadium tour, which Victoria famously declined to take part in.

However, the band famously took to the stage as a five-piece for Victoria’s own 50th birthday in 2024, and since then, she’s admitted to feeling “tempted” at the prospect of reuniting in a more official capacity, even if she would struggle to make time due to her successful fashion career.

Back in November, Victoria also surprised Spice Girls fans with an impromptu performance of one of their hits on social media, accompanied by her youngest son Cruz Beckham on the guitar (interestingly, this also fell at a time when the Beckham name was attached to a very different controversy, after the 20-year-old was reported to have lost his driving licence due to multiple speeding violations).
