'Beast Games' Spoilers: Did Nick Take the $1 Million? Why Fans Don't Think He Did

Beast Games fans are complaining that episode 7 was just a “filler” episode, but it did end on a major cliffhanger.

MrBeast‘s competition for the $5 million cash prize began with 200 contestants and is now down to 10 players. The seventh episode featured them all getting visits from their families and feasting with them while preparing for the next challenge.

Even though no game was played during the episode, we did get a lot of insight into the minds of the players and saw what their real-life personalities are probably like, compared to their game personas.

At the end of the episode, the players were led to a graveyard and told to pick a team captain. The captain would remain on land while the other 9 players would be buried alive (safely in oversized coffins). Wrestler Nick Mariano, player 118, is chosen as the captain and tasked with a major decision.

The next challenge does not have an elimination-factor, but $1 million is on the line. MrBeast is giving the Top 10 a million dollars to split amongst themselves, but it’s a game of trust as each player gets to decide how much they’ll take when they enter the pod.

As the team captain, Nick gets the first cut of the prize and can either take $1 million for himself, take his even share of $100,000, or take any amount he wishes. He also gets to choose the order for who goes next.

So, how much money did Nick take?

Episode 7 ends on a cliffhanger and we don’t see how much Nick actually takes. We’ll obviously find out in the next episode!

While the episode ends with Nick seemingly deciding to take the full $1 million pot for himself, not all fans are convinced he’s going to do that.

First, the next episode is titled “Would You Steal $1,000,000?” and some viewers don’t think that they’d focus a whole episode on the backlash Nick would get for taking the money for himself. After episode seven was considered to be “filler,” fans would not be happy to have another episode without any challenge or game being played. So, fans think that we’ll see more strategy happen here.

Second, one Reddit user notes that the preview at the 4:30 mark in episode 7 points to another contestant taking some of the money. If Nick takes it all for himself, we wouldn’t have this shot. Obviously, Nick could still take a large chunk, but this seemingly implies he didn’t take it all.
