Transnet Pipelines celebrates 60 years of service
Transnet Pipelines (TPL) celebrated its sixtieth year of service to South Africa’s fuel and energy sector on February 5 and hosted a high-level business and stakeholder engagement session to commemorate the milestone.
The State-owned utility points out that it has been six decades since the commissioning of South Africa’s first long-distance fuel pipeline in 1965, which reflects TPL’s enduring role in enabling energy security, industrial development and economic growth.
