California Police Roast Ignorant Amazon Delivery Driver Stuck In Snow
California Highway Police Truckee, also known as CHP-Truckee, has one of the best social media accounts out there.
The account, which has over 300,000 followers, provides motorists with relevant and important information during Lake Tahoe's brutal winter storms. The account's tone, however, isn't what you would expect from your local police department.
Today, February 20, 2026, CHP-Truckee took to Instagram to remind drivers about the still-snow-covered roads after a blizzard dumped more than 70 inches across the region. They did so by absolutely roasting an Amazon delivery driver who didn't heed warnings about chain control and road conditions.
"Your Amazon package is out for delivery… Somewhere," writes CHP-Truckee, along with two photos of an Amazon delivery vehicle jack-knifed on Interstate 80 near Donner Pass. "Currently, it’s enjoying the scenic views of Donner Summit while we help it reconsider its life choices. Winter roads don’t care about Prime memberships."

I-80 has been closed in both directions multiple times throughout the storm, but conditions are expected to clear on Friday with sunny skies and cold temperatures.
Still, CHP-Truckee reminds drivers to "Slow down. Carry chains. Respect the mountain. Let’s keep the freeway open and the packages moving."
