"Gone Girl" is coming, and it's gearing up to be one of the fall's big conversation pieces. Not because of the awards prospects it may or may not have, but because David Fincher and co. are examining relationships in a manner that could have you arguing with your significant other when the credits roll. And today comes yet another tantalizing tease for the movie.
A new TV spot has dropped, peering inside the puzzle box mystery based on the book by Gillian Flynn, about a man accused of being involved in the disappearance of his wife. But can we pause here to talk about the supporting cast? Fincher clearly knows what the he's doing, because all the choices — Patrick Fugit, Carrie Coon (who killed it on "The Leftovers," please come back for season two), Neil Patrick Harris, and even Tyler Perry — seem spot on and smart. And all serve to make murkier the mystery, especially for those who haven't read the book.
