Chelsea floated the idea of involving Arsenal attacking sensation Max Dowman in any potential deal for Noni Madueke during preliminary talks, according to Hand of Arsenal.

They have proven to be a trusted source concerning all things Arsenal, and they have claimed this evening that the Blues were keen on having Dowman as part of a deal which could see Madueke move in the opposite direction.
However, the Gunners promptly knocked back the proposal as they see the teenager as their crown jewel.
The billionaire-owned Blues are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Dowman, and they were keen to see whether Arsenal would be open to doing business.
The North Londoners have agreed personal terms with Madueke, but both clubs are still some way apart in their valuation of the England international forward and will continue talks as they look to reach an agreement.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has Dowman in his first-team plans for next season and has included him as a part of the club’s pre-season preparations this summer following an impressive season with their youth teams last term.
The teenager bagged 19 goals and five assists in 23 appearances across all competitions for the Arsenal youth teams last term, with 14 goals and three assists coming in his last seven games for the under-18s, and he has regularly trained with the Gunners senior team.
Several Premier League academies have approached his father to register their interest in him, and he continues to attract the bigwigs after he made history in the UEFA Youth League last September by becoming the youngest player to find the back of the net in the history of the European competition after scoring against Atalanta aged 14 years, eight months and 19 days.
