Arsenal now ready to sell "extraordinary" 25yo star alongside Trossard, replacement found

Arsenal are likely to focus on multiple departures over the upcoming week, according to journalist Henry Winter.

The Gunners have already bolstered their squad with three signings this summer.

They have confirmed the arrivals of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfield duo Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard.

Chelsea winger Noni Madueke is expected to join, and Winter claims that Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera will arrive too.

The focus will then turn to potential outgoings. Leandro Trossard is one of those anticipated to head for the exit door this month.

With Mosquera poised to join, Winter reports that centre-back Jakub Kiwior could leave soon.

Mosquera could be Kiwior’s replacement at Arsenal

Kiwior has been a good deputy behind William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes. He stepped up during the back end of last season after Gabriel’s hamstring injury.

However, the 25-year-old may have to return to the bench next season as Saliba and Gabriel will most likely continue as the preferred centre-back pairing.

This could be a reason behind Kiwior possibly leaving the Gunners. There have been numerous Serie A clubs interested in his services in the past.

Kiwior, described as ‘extraordinary‘ by Robert Lewandowski, could choose to return to Italy, having previously impressed at Spezia.

Mosquera would be a good replacement for the Polish star. He has played mainly as a left centre-back during his formative years at Valencia.

The 21-year-old is a strong ball-playing defender who is brilliant in ground duels and recoveries. He can also operate as a right-back if required.

The Spaniard ace has already given the green light to join the Gunners, and it may not be long before an agreement is reached over the fee.
