Tokayev expresses support to UAE leader after Iran’s military attack

Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reports Akorda.
The Head of State expressed concern over the escalation of the situation in the Middle East. Tokayev conveyed words of sincere respect, support, and solidarity to the UAE President and, through him, to the entire people of that country.
The President of Kazakhstan regretfully noted that, during the military attack on the UAE, civilian infrastructure was affected.

“Kazakhstan regards the United Arab Emirates as a friendly and brotherly country and is ready to provide all possible assistance if necessary,” Tokayev stated.

As the Head of our State emphasized, the attack on civilian facilities in the UAE, as well as in other Gulf countries, deserves strong condemnation.
For his part, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highly appreciated Kazakhstan’s support and expressed gratitude for our country’s readiness to provide assistance in overcoming the current international crisis.
During the conversation, the interlocutors reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Kazakh–Emirati relations of friendship and strategic partnership, and wished the brotherly peoples of the two countries peace, well-being, and prosperity in the holy month of Ramadan.
