A 48-year-old Filipina entrepreneur and widow was crowned 2016 Mrs. Grandma Universe at a pageant held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on January 21. Newfield (Robert R. Requintina) Babylyn Decena Newfield, 48, head of Cartridge World Philippines, a global firm that manufactures ink and toners for distribution here and abroad, bested more than 50 grandmas around the world in the competition. She also won the special award for Best In National Costume. Newfield of Alabang, Muntinlupa City, has four children and four grandchildren.
