Pampanga Gov. Lilia Pineda, an ally of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, is the latest endorser of Liberal Party (LP) candidates after she committed yesterday Kapampangan’s support for administration national candidates. “Mahal na Pangulo, asahan po ninyo ang buong suporta ng Pampanga sa inyong mga kandidato (Beloved President, expect the full support of Pampanga for your candidate),” Pineda said in a brief speech as she welcomed President Aquino who met Pampanga communities in front of the Provincial Capitol in the City of San Fernando. The event was also graced by administration standard bearer Mar Roxas and his running mate Leni Robredo.
