RALEIGH, North Carolina — The latest on reports of gunfire that sent dozens fleeing from a busy North Carolina shopping mall have police investigating whether any shots were fired during the Saturday incident. A North Carolina mall where shoppers fled after reports of gunfire on Saturday is reopening for business. The Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh posted on its website that it is open from noon until 7 p.m. on Sunday. The site said that people who rushed from the mall leaving personal belongings behind on Saturday afternoon could claim them in the mall’s community room beginning at noon. Police are investigating after reports of gunfire sent shoppers running from the mall or led them to hide inside stores on Saturday.
