Dead heat in Austrian poll, result unlikely before Monday
The two candidates in Austria's presidential election runoff were exactly neck-and-neck Sunday, according to projections based on 97 percent of votes counted.
The final result is unlikely to be clear before Monday, after both Norbert Hofer from the far-right and Alexander van der Bellen, former head of the Green Party, scored 50.0 percent, the projections on public TV showed.
