“I demand concrete results“ - Tokayev to akims and ministers

Tengrinews.kz - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev became familiar with the activities of the project office located at the EXPO campus, which is aimed at contributing to the implementation of reforms and strategic initiatives in the country, according to Akorda.
After reviewing the presentations, the President emphasized that government members should focus on decisive actions to achieve substantial results in the socio-economic development of the country.

"We have important tasks ahead of us. The main thing is to keep a close watch on the implementation of the instructions given by the Head of State. The primary goal of this center is to improve the efficiency of reforms. This area will be coordinated by Darhan Satybaldy, the First Deputy Head of the President's Administration. Both ministers and akims must be ready to make bold decisions. Earlier, I set specific tasks for the government. On matters of socio-economic development, it must make necessary decisions on its own. I demand concrete results," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President urged ministers and leaders to focus on a number of tasks.

"At present, we are focused on large infrastructure projects, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and nuclear energy. These are the key strategic directions for the development of our country. The government must make sure to take these important issues into account in its work," he emphasized.

The Head of State specifically addressed the prospects for the development of nuclear energy.

"Regarding the construction of nuclear power plants – we need to speed up. I already mentioned in an interview that we will build two large stations, possibly three. We must turn Kazakhstan into a country with a developed nuclear energy sector, a country where artificial intelligence operates and full digitalization is in place," concluded Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
