However, we do not intend to stop at what has been achieved and continue to consistently implement economic reforms. On March 15, a nationwide referendum on adopting a new Constitution will be held in our country. We expect citizens to support this document, as it will become an important step toward the further progress of the state. We place great hopes on the new Constitution creating a solid foundation for large-scale transformations, democratization, and comprehensive modernization of Kazakhstan, opening new opportunities for the country’s development and improving the well-being of our citizens," the President said.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also noted that Kazakhstan pursues a peace-loving foreign policy. According to him, all contradictions and conflicts in the modern world must be resolved exclusively through peaceful means and diplomatic efforts.
The President of Kazakhstan also expressed solidarity with the Gulf states and voiced hope for the early resolution of conflicts.
At the end of the ceremony, the President wished the foreign diplomats success in their responsible work.
