King Philippe of Belgium to visit Kazakhstan
Tengrinews.kz — King Philippe of Belgium has sent a reply message to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, according to the Akorda press service.
In his message, King Philippe expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for his warm wishes on the occasion of Belgium’s National Day.
Note: Belgium’s National Day is celebrated annually on July 21.
King Philippe also said he was looking forward to his state visit to Kazakhstan later this year at the invitation of the Head of State.
On June 23, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever. President Tokayev described Belgium as one of Kazakhstan’s key partners in the European Union.
For his part, Prime Minister Bart De Wever noted the high level of political dialogue between the two countries.
President Tokayev also stressed that he attaches particular importance to King Philippe’s upcoming state visit to Kazakhstan later this year, which will be the first in the history of bilateral relations.
