Traffic restrictions introduced on the Shetpe – Zhetybay highway

Tengrinews.kz — Traffic restrictions have been introduced on the Shetpe–Zhetybay highway in the Mangystau region.
From September 8 to 14, 2026, traffic for all types of vehicles is restricted on a section of the KAZ-11 national highway ("Dossor – Kulsary – Beyneu – Sai-Otes – Shetpe – Zhetybay – Aktau") from kilometer 705 to kilometer 712.

According to KazAutoZhol, for the duration of the repair work, vehicles will be able to use the internal road through the village of Zhetybay.
Traffic on the main section is expected to be restored on September 14, 2026.
Current highway closures
Traffic restrictions are also currently in place on several other road sections:

From July 24 to November 30: on the Medeu–Tuyuq-Su road;
From August 24 to September 10 — on the Astana – Karaganda – Almaty highway from kilometer 1194 to kilometer 1209.
From September 3 to September 30 — on the "Almaty – Tonkeris – Baiserke – Mezhdurechenskoye – Astana – Almaty highway" from kilometer 20, near the village of Kokterek, to kilometer 51.
