“Uyal“ and “Salem sal“ - a Labrador from Zhetysay surprised Kaznet with her knowledge of Kazakh
Chelsea was given to a younger brother five years ago
The story of the bond between Chelsea the Labrador and her owner, Kamaladin Abdullaev, began five years ago.
"In 2021, our father passed away, and I brought Chelsea from Zhetysay as a gift and a friend for my younger brother. However, after playing with her for a month, my brother lost interest. For the first two years, Chelsea lived like an ordinary dog, spending a lot of time in an enclosure. Later, I felt sorry for her and decided to take an active role in her upbringing and training," Kamaladin said.

The dog quickly mastered commands in Kazakh
Although Chelsea had initially mastered basic commands in Russian—such as "sit," "down," and "stand"—the transition was seamless. The idea proved more than successful: the dog quickly learned the new commands, and videos of her reactions rapidly gained popularity in Kaznet.

The first Kazakh commands for Chelsea were "Ұял" (be ashamed) and "Сәлем сал" (give a greeting). It took the Labrador only a month of regular training to fully master and confidently understand the new words.
Chelsea helps stray puppies
According to her owner, Chelsea's defining traits are empathy and kindness.
"A week after Chelsea gave birth to her own puppies, we went for a walk and heard the cries of stray little ones. Chelsea immediately ran to them and began nursing them with her milk. We have a whole series of such videos—she regularly finds stray puppies on walks and shows them to me so that I can help them," Kamaladin shared.
