Michael Whatley: If There’s Anything That Surprised Me, It’s The Fact That We Won The Popular Vote So Resoundingly
RNC Chairman, Michael Whatley, spoke to Brian Kilmeade about Donald Trump being elected the 47th President of the United States. Whatley said “If there’s anything that surprised me, it’s the fact that we won the popular vote so resoundingly.” Whatley believes republicans flipping the senate and on track to hold the house is a really great night for America. Whatley also spoke about the seismic shift in Black, Hispanic and Asian-American voters as a testament to the Donald Trump’s outreach into those communities. In addition, Whatley also pointed to President-Elect Trump going to alternative platforms from Joe Rogan and Elon Musk to all of the other podcasts that he did, adding, “The fact that he went and sat down with the National Association of Black Journalists for a very hostile interview and then got a standing ovation afterwards.”
