Helsingborg is poised to become the first municipality in Sweden to test AI programs designed to alleviate the workload of social secretaries, with technology provided by the startup Klang.ai. This pilot project, involving 20 social secretaries, has already demonstrated substantial time savings, showcasing the potential of AI in transforming social services, has recently been highlighted by SVT, the national Swedish Broadcasters.
Klang.ai’s Role in Social Services
Klang.ai’s AI program transcribes, summarizes, and makes lengthy client conversations searchable, offering significant benefits in areas like child assessments where sensitive topics are discussed and extensive documentation is required. The technology aims to streamline administrative tasks, allowing social secretaries to focus more on client interactions and support.

The recorded conversations are promptly deleted once documented, ensuring privacy and data security.
