Hera Pheri 3 is currently the hot topic of discussion due to Paresh Rawal's exit from the film. Priyadarshan got on board to direct the film that is being produced by Akshay Kumar's production house - Cape of Good Films. Paresh Rawal's sudden exit from the film has left the makers in a fix. Yesterday, reports suggested that Akshay Kumar has sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal seeking Rs 25 crore in damages. Paresh Rawal reportedly signed a contract and even shot for the promo. Amid all of this drama, Priyadarshan has now reacted to Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3 and expressed shock over actor's 'unprofessional behaviour'.

In an interview with entertainment news portal Bollywood Hungama, Priyadarshan explained that he wasn't interested in making Hera Pheri 3 but he agreed to it as 'close friend' Akshay Kumar persuaded him. Akshay Kumar told him that he has invested huge amount to get the rights of Hera Pheri and has even asked Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal to be a part of it. That's how Priydarshan came on board to direct the movie. The filmmaker also revealed that Paresh Rawal did not give an explanation to him or Akshay Kumar for his exit. He also added that Paresh Rawal did not express his unhappiness with the script or the film.

Priyadarshan was also asked if Hera Pheri 3 will be made without Paresh Rawal. To this, he expressed angst and said that he does not care about it. He mentioned that he would rather retire than handle this stress. He was quoted saying, "I don't give a f**k. I don't care whether it's made or not. I was doing it for Akshay. I really don't want to work anymore. I have some commitments to fulfil. I've just completed Bhoot Bungla with Akshay, and I have a film with Akshay and Saif that I am committed to direct. Beyond that, I don't need this kind of tension. I would rather play with my grandchild than make movies with unprofessional actors."

The filmmaker also extended his support to Akshay Kumar when asked about actor's decision to sue Paresh Rawal over his exit from the film. "He has all my support. But the financial losses are his. By the way, everyone including Paresh has been paid an advance," he said.

Suniel Shetty, who plays the role of Shyam in the movie, also reacted to Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3 and said that he is himself clueless about it.
