Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss 19 is famous for its ups and downs and twists and turns. From changing dynamics to unexpected evictions, this season has seen it all. Recently Pranit More's eviction has shocked the audiences and fans, but there's still uncertainty over whether he will make a comeback or not. What was more concerning for the fans was the reason he had to say goodbye to the house of Bigg Boss. Interestingly, right after becoming the captain, the comedian had to bid adieu to the house within a couple of days due to medical reasons. Because of the same, his captaincy tenure has also officially ended. The house now has a new captain after a fresh captaincy task.

 

What was the captaincy task all about?

According to Bigg Boss Tak, a captaincy task took place in the house, which was designed like a musical chair game. For the task, the contestants had to walk on square blocks. The rule was that when the music stopped, if two contestants landed on the same block, both would be eliminated from the round. The task was completed in five rounds.

In the first round, Shahbaz and Tanya Mittal got out, after which Bigg Boss appointed Shehnaaz Gill's brother as the task moderator. In the second round, Farhana and Mridul ended up on the same block and were eliminated. The third round saw Abhishek Bajaj and Neelam getting out, while in the fourth round, Gaurav Khanna and Malti were eliminated. In the fifth and final round, Kunika Sadanand and Ashnoor Kaur lost their chance at captaincy.

Amaal Mallik becomes the new captain

Ultimately, Amaal Mallik won the task and became the new captain of the house. He is also the only contestant this season to have gained immunity twice. During the process, Gaurav Khanna was hopeful that luck would favor him this time, but once again, he was left disappointed.

 

Who is nominated for eviction this week?

This week's nominated contestants for eviction are Farhana Bhatt, Gaurav Khanna, Neelam Giri, Abhishek Bajaj, and Ashnoor Kaur. Since there was no nomination last week due to Pranit's exit, the rumor has it that a double eviction might happen this week, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
