The next big update to 'Heroes of the Storm' takes a page out of 'Overwatch'
Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard Entertainment's foray into the MOBA genre, is getting a major facelift in 2017 with a new progression system, loot chests and a whole lot of new loot.
In the spotlight video above, Blizzard lays out all the new features and changes coming to the game in an update dubbed Heroes of the Storm 2.0, which currently doesn't have a release date (although it sounds like it's coming very soon). In addition to new collectible loot — like hero voice lines and banners to mark camps or towers you've beaten — Heroes 2.0 is introducing a new way to get that loot that looks very similar to Overwatch: you'll get loot chests after every level.
