Caitlin Clark Reveals Michael Phelps Is Her Phone's Lock Screen
Michael Phelps remains the most decorated Olympian of all time with nearly 30 medals to his name. His dedication to his sport has earned the admiration of athletes around the world in all types of athletics beyond swimming. One of those athletes is Caitlin Clark, who herself already boasts plenty of accolades.
In a video posted on the NCAA March Madness Women's Basketball social media account, various University of Iowa players were asked to show the photo they have set as their phone's lock screen. Clark proudly showed that she has a picture of Phelps in action as her background.
"This is Michael Phelps swimming in the Olympics," she said as she showed her phone screen to the camera. "It's pretty tough."

Phelps himself got wind of Clark's digital admiration and shared his gratitude in response to the video. "Honored!" the swimming champion wrote. "This is so cool!"

With her seemingly superhuman talent, Clark's rise to stardom has been reminiscent in some ways to Phelps' over two decades ago. Last month, she became the highest-scoring basketball player in NCAA Division I history among both men and women, and Clark is heading to the WNBA draft later this month while fielding offers, including one from rapper Ice Cube.
Like Phelps, Clark is simply concentrated on the task in front of her, which right now is the ongoing March Madness tournament. "My main focus is on this team and helping us find a way to [win] and hopefully win another one after that," she said during the Sweet 16 last week.
Iowa faces off against UConn in the Final Four on April 5.
