Pentaho's analytics software to blend multiple streams of big data
One of the challenges of big data is blending information from multiple sources, and Pentaho has developed new software to make that process easier.
Pentaho 6.0, announced Tuesday at the Strata + Hadoop conference in New York, includes the first version of the Pentaho enterprise-class server and aims to help companies blend data of any type -- structured or unstructured, for example -- at any stage of the pipeline.
Scheduled for release in mid-October, Pentaho 6.0 offers new data services and delivery options to blend and virtualize datasets on the fly with appropriate governance for analytics at scale.
