Cross-border transhumance between Cameroon, Chad and CAR source of conflicts
Located in the heart of the Central African Republic, is an area that boasts several million hectares of largely under-exploited grazing land. It is one of the key areas for livestock survival in the sub-region. The cross-border transhumance that occurs every year during the dry season between Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic is the source of numerous conflicts between herders and farmers, as FRANCE 24's team on the ground reports.
