Norman residents prep for bulk pickup in April
Norman residents who are looking to get rid of big items like old furniture and appliances can do so through the City of Norman's Residential Spring Clean-up.
NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - Norman residents who are looking to get rid of big items like old furniture and appliances can do so through the City of Norman's Residential Spring Clean-up.
According to the City of Norman, the cleanup will allow residents over the next month with different pickup days depending on their polycart service pickup days.
Bulk pickup for residents who have Monday polycart service will take place on April 6. For residents who have Tuesday polycart service, it will by April 13; for residents with Wednesday polycart service, it will be April 20; for residents with Thursday polycart service, it will be April 27; and for residents with Friday polycart service, it will be May 5.

Yard waste and hazardous materials cannot be collected through the event, nor can construction materials, according to the city.
Residents are allowed to put out their bulky items as early as a week before their scheduled pickup date but remember their is a collection limit for each household.
