Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, local agencies investigating the 'suspicious disappearance' of 2 women
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the "suspicious disappearance" of two women in which officials reported that their vehicle was found in Texas County.
TEXAS COUNTY, Okla. (KAMR/KCIT) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the "suspicious disappearance" of two women as officials reported that their vehicle was found "abandoned" in Texas County.
Officials detailed that on March 30, the Texas County Sheriff's Office requested the assistance of the OSBI regarding the reported disappearance of 27-year-old Veronica Butler and 39-year-old Jilian Kelley after their vehicle was found "abandoned" near Highway 95 and Road L, south of Elkhart, Kansas in Texas County.
An Endangered Missing Advisory poster further detailed that the women were traveling to "pick up children."
The poster read that Butler reportedly stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall with red hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt, denim shorts, and "Hey Dudes." In addition, she has several tattoos including a Chinese symbol on her left forearm and a sunflower on her left shoulder.
Kelley reportedly has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing white washed jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, and tan or beige shoes. She also reportedly has a butterfly tattoo on her left forearm.
Further, officials noted that OSBI special agents along with local law enforcement agencies are currently working to locate the women.
