Oklahoma City Police looking for more information in 2023 homicide
The Oklahoma City Police Department is looking for more information regarding a deadly shooting from September 2023.
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma City Police Department is looking for more information regarding a deadly shooting from September 2023.
According to OKCPD, officers responded to a shooting near the 1300 block of NE 8th St. on Sept. 10, 2023. That shooting claimed the life of Quantrell Steele.
Police say Steele was at Pitts Park that evening. He left to go a gas station before going to The Tree Lounge.
After that, Steele and another vehicle were traveling south on Lincoln Blvd. when both vehicles turned onto NE 8th St. That is when the shooting happened.

"There were at least fifty rounds being fired." said Sgt. Brandi Streeter with OKCPD. "He was a person that was trying to turn his life around and get his kids back and his kids do deserve to know what happened to their dad."
