Firefighters battles house fire in NW Oklahoma City
The Oklahoma City Fire Department battled a house fire Thursday morning.
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma City Fire Department battled a house fire Thursday morning.
According to OKCFD, crews responded to a home near Hefner Rd. and Council Rd. around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they found smoke coming from the roof.
Two adults, three children and their dog made it out safely. No injuries have been reported.
"No injuries, yeah, even the dog made it out," said District Chief Jeff Chappell with OKCFD. "EMSA has been great to work with, the dog and the three kids have been hanging out in blankets on EMSA's cot."
Firefighters were able to knock the fire down, but the home was left with extensive damage.
The cause of this fire has not been determined as the investigation continues.
