Two women arrested following altercation, one charged with attempted murder
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of two women following an altercation of Saturday.
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of two women following an altercation of Saturday.
LPSO said they placed two women under arrest following an altercation in the 2600 block of Mills St. Saturday night. Kavon Bernard, 26, and Passionelle Gerard, 24, were arrested as a result of the altercation, in which multiple shots were fired, according to authorities.
Bernard has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, and Gerard with aggravated second-degree battery in relation to this incident.
