UL flags at half staff in honor of slain professor Eric Green
The University of Louisiana-Lafayette is lowering its flags for another death in the university community.
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The University of Louisiana-Lafayette is lowering its flags for another death in the university community.
Eric Green, a psychology professor, was killed in the triple homicide April 12.
"In memory of Dr. Eric Green, the University flag will be lowered at half-staff on Wednesday, April 24," the university posted on its Facebook page. "Dr. Green, of Lafayette, was an adjunct instructor in the UL Lafayette Psychology Department. He is deeply missed by faculty and students alike. His friends and family remain in the thoughts and prayers of many at the University."
Private services were held in Crowley and his interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
