Drive-by shooting, fight injure 3 in East Portland: police
Multiple people have been shot and injured in three separate incidents on Portland's east side throughout the weekend, according to Portland police.
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Multiple people were shot and injured in three separate incidents Portland's east side throughout the weekend. These included a drive-by shooting, a person shot in the foot and a shooting stemming from a fight, according to Portland police.
Just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in a vehicle with two children and two adults inside. Authorities say that one of the adults in the vehicle was shot and injured by someone in a passing car near Northeast 100th Avenue and East Burnside Street
Police say the injured adult is now in the hospital and expected to recover.
Officials say another shooting happened Saturday just before midnight when police were called to North Columbia Boulevard on a report that someone had been shot in the foot.
Police say shots came from outside of a nearby Goodyear.
Just before 11 a.m. Sunday, a fight between two people escalated when one shot the other, prompting police response near Southeast 84th Avenue and Southeast Foster Road.
Police say after one person shot, they took off and the person who was shot does not have life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made in all three incidents, authorities say.
