Frost continues to threaten parts of the PNW
Winter conditions aren't over yet for some in western Oregon and Washington Tuesday.
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Winter conditions aren't over yet for some in western Oregon and Washington Tuesday.
Clearing skies Tuesday afternoon will give way to cooler conditions for some by Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service out of Portland has issued a Frost Advisory for part of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. The advisory starts at midnight Tuesday and lasts through 9 a.m. Wednesday. This is primarily over the higher elevated spots and valleys of the Coast Range.
Temperatures near freezing could pose a threat to sensitive plants Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. Another round of warmer weather both daytime highs and overnight lows will build across the region later this week.
