Police ID victim in SE Portland shooting, say incident was random
Authorities have identified the victim of a Southeast Portland that left a car riddled with bullet holes last week.
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Authorities have identified the victim of a Southeast Portland shooting that left a car riddled with bullet holes last week.
According to Portland police, Marc-Leon Telean, 30, was killed in a shooting near Southeast Powell and 86th.
Telean had recently moved to Portland from Haiti and officers believe that this shooting was a random incident.
A KOIN 6 News crew at the scene saw a white car covered in bullet holes, with shell casings and evidence markers clearly visible around the area.
A woman was also in the car at the time of the shooting and she was taken to the hospital and was expected to recover.
The incident is still under investigation and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact police.
