APD searching for suspect vehicle in hit-and-run
The Austin Police Department said it was searching for a vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run that resulted in serious injuries.
AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said it was searching for a vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run that resulted in serious injuries.
According to police, at approximately 4:20 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a crash that occurred between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Manor Road, just north of Rogge Lane. Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Fire Department also responded to the call.
APD said a preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a pickup truck hit a pedestrian and then left the scene without rendering aid.
“The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and is still hospitalized in critical condition,” APD said.
Police described the suspect vehicle as a white newer model four-door pickup truck.

“A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest,” APD said.
