TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Crews with the Austin Fire Department responded to southeastern Travis County Wednesday afternoon for reports of a large generator explosion.
AFD said the incident occurred in the 2900 block of South Farm-to-Market 973.
Fire crews were on the scene and extinguishing large amounts of fire on a vehicle-mounted generator, according to AFD.
Officials urged drivers to be cautious and avoid the area while emergency crews were working.
