APD investigating crash that left 19-year-old dead

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Police are investigating a northwest Austin crash that left a 19-year-old dead last month.
According to the Austin Police Department, the crash happened on Feb. 25 around 4:15 p.m. in the 12300 block of Technology Boulevard. APD said the crash involved a pickup truck and an SUV.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified by police as Braden Norman, 19, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said other involved occupants were either transported with minor injuries or were not injured and refused transport.
This incident is being investigated as Austin's 11th fatal crash of 2024, resulting in 11 fatalities for the year. On the date of this crash in 2023, 16 fatal crashes resulted in 16 fatalities.
